At Equitysolar, community is at the heart of everything we do. We believe in a 100% renewable energy transition, and we must bring everyone along on that journey. But not everyone owns their rooftop or has a suitable roof for solar. The quickest and easiest way to give this group of people access to solar energy is via a peer-to-peer energy sharing network. At Equitysolar, we are building our own energy sharing network and we’ve called it Equity Energy Collective. By joining this community, you will not only get access to cheap solar during the day, you will also help support local solar and our transition to 100% renewable energy. It’s a win-win for both local solar producers and consumers while we work towards a future decentralised energy network which is owned by the consumers and away from the current centralised model controlled by large multinationals.
